Background

Cardiac MR imaging has made tremendous advances in the last five years, and recent studies show the potential of MR imaging to investigate the coronaries (vessel wall imaging), and to depict infarcted tissues (delayed enhancement imaging). Within this project, we aim to explore novel image analysis approaches for these latest acquisition possibilities.

Goals

To develop image analysis and quantification techniques for the most recent types of cardiovascular MR imaging protocols such as vessel wall imaging and delayed enhancement infarct imaging.

Status

The project started 1 October 2002.
