Thomas O'Reilly

PhD student

  • Radiology

Thomas O'Reilly did his bachelors and masters in physics at Leiden University. Part of these programmes involved participating in research internships which he chose to do at the C.J. Gorter center, looking at the various uses of high-permittivity materials in ultra-high field MRI performing both simulation studies and building hardware. After his masters he decided to stay at the Gorter center to pursue a PhD where he is continuing to work on high-permittivity materials in MRI as well as working to build a low-cost low-field MRI system based on permanent magnets
