Merlijn van der Plas

PhD student

  • Brain Perfusion Imaging
  • Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL)
  • Radial Golden Angle read-out

Merlijn did the track Medical Physics within the Master Medical Natural Sciences. In October 2016, she started her PhD research at the C.J. Gorter Center for high field MRI of the Leiden University Medical Center. Her main research topics are the development and optimization of arterial spin labeling (ASL) perfusion techniques, like radial golden angle read-out and time encoded pseudo continuous ASL (te-pCASL).
