Clarize started the BSc program Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) in 2012. She finalised her BSc program with an internship at the Interventional Molecular Imaging Laboratory (IMI lab), where she worked on nerve imaging. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in July 2015, she continued with the Research Master’s program of Biomedical Sciences. For her first Master’s internship she has returned to the IMI lab. She is currently involved in the set-up of (fluorescence) immunohistochemical staining protocols for the evaluation of membranous biomarkers in breast cancer.
