Evgeni Aizenberg received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University (Boston, MA, USA) in 2012 with a thesis on automated detection of colon pre-cancer based on in vivo endomicroscopy images. In 2014, he received his MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology (Delft, The Netherlands) with a thesis on computer-aided evaluation of inflammatory changes on MRI of the spine in patients with suspected axial spondyloarthritis. Since September 2014, Evgeni is a PhD researcher at the Division of Image Processing (LKEB) at Leiden University Medical Center.
Evgeni's main area of interest is computer-aided diagnosis of disease. Currently, he is investigating the feasibility of early detection of rheumatoid arthritis based on fully automatic and quantitative analysis of extremity MRI scans.
