  • Clinical implementation of navigated ultrasound

Pip is a BSc in Medicine, graduated at the University of Leiden. During the half minor course ‘Biomedical Imaging’ she got interested in the work conducted at the department of Radiology at the LUMC. She therefore joined the Interventional Molecular Imaging Laboratory for an internship and now her PhD. In close collaboration with the Interventional Radiology group (headed by dr. A.R. van Erkel) she is currently working on a study that evaluates the clinical efficacy of image-fusion for ultrasound guided radiofrequency ablation procedures. Her focus is mainly on our clinical studies.
