Autonomic dysfunction

Autonomic dysfunction in PD patients is a serious problem, it is associated with depression and impacts on daily functioning and quality of life. For several autonomic symptoms, including gastrointestinal and urinary problems, orthostatic hypotension, and erectile dysfunction, therapeutic interventions have become available.  

The SCOPA- AUT is self-completed by patients and consists of 25 items assessing the following functions: gastrointestinal (7), urinary (6), cardiovascular (3), thermoregulatory (4), pupillomotor (1), and sexual (2 items for men and 2 items for women).
