International Parkinson Disease Genomic Consortium (IPDGC)

A large-scale international collaboration in which genetic data are collected with the aim to unravel the cause of Parkinson’s disease as well as to examine the role of genetic factors in explaining disease characteristics.

Parkinson’s Disease Genetics Sequencing Consortium (PDGSC)

A large-scale international effort to find the genes that confer susceptibility to PD, leading to a better understanding of the causes of PD and development of potential treatments .

COURAGE–PD

A EU funded project to evaluate genetic and environmental contributions to Parkinson’s disease). Fact sheet
