Coagulation Reference Laboratory (CRL)

The Coagulation Reference Laboratory (CRL) is a part of the Department of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine located at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). Activities done by the Coagulation Reference Laboratory are standardization of blood coagulation tests and ISI calibration by Manual Tilt Tube technique (MTT) using international standards for thromboplastin according to WHO guidelines. The CRL has a leading role in establishing a Reference Measurement System for PT/INR standardization.
