FELIX trial

The FELIX (Foraminal Enlargement Lumbar Interspinosus distraXion) Trial is a randomised controlled trial, comparing surgical decompression with an interspinous implant in patients with intermittent neurogenic claudication caused by lumbar stenosis.

Several criteria are being defined to include patients in various cooperating centers in the Netherlands.

On 14 November 2014 the result of the Felix trial has been published in the  British Medical Journal.

In January the 2-year result was published in the European Spine Journal
