Human Genetics 3 - Molecular Technology and Informatics for Personalised Medicine and Health

Principal investigators: Dr. Lucia Clemens-Daxinger, Dr. Susan Kloet, Dr. Jeroen F.J. Laros, Dr. Ahmed M.E.T.A. Mahfouz, Dr. Marco Roos

Aim and focus

Molecular Technology and Informatics for Personalised Medicine and Health research line brings together leading experts in cutting-edge (epi)genomics research. The program focuses on unravelling complex genotype-phenotype relationships through innovative -omics technologies, including advanced single-cell, spatial and single-molecule approaches. By integrating machine learning and statistical methods with advanced next-generation sequencing and genomic technologies, the research teams explore genomic organization, gene expression, and disease mechanisms across neuroscience, immunology, and personalized medicine.
