Introductie

Reijer started in January 2017 his PhD research at the Leiden University Medical Center at the C.J. Gorter Center for high field MRI on Electrical Properties Tomography (EPT). EPT concerns the reconstruction of the electrical properties (conductivity and permittivity) of different tissues with the help of measurable magnetic flux density B1+ obtained with the MRI scanner. He tries to reconstruct the electrical properties with the help of a three-dimensional implementation of Contrast Source Inversion (CSI) technique, dubbed 3-D CSI-EPT.
