Biosketch

Dr. Hetty Jolink studied Medical Science at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from 1995 until 2002. She started her training for Internal Medicine at the Groene Hart Ziekenhuis in Gouda in 2003, which she continued in the Leiden University Medical Center in Leiden. She finished her Internal Medicine training in 2009, subspecialty Infectious Diseases. From 2009 until 2014 she worked at the department of Infectious Diseases and the department of Hematology on the research project "Human T-cell responses to Aspergillus fumigatus". She defended her PhD in March 2017.

Since 2014 she is a staff member at the department of Infectious Diseases and involved in patient care, research and education. Her main fields of interest are primary immunodeficiency and secundary immunodeficiency, among which HIV and immunodeficiency due to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and solid organ transplantation.
