Leiden Genome Technology Center

The Leiden Genome Technology Center (LGTC) - part of the Department of Human Genetics - is the genomics and transcriptomics facility at LUMC. LGTC aims to develop and facilitate advanced methods for genomic research to support researchers both in and outside LUMC.

Services

The Leiden Genome Technology Center is specialized in next-generation sequencing (NGS) with a particular focus on single-cell and single-molecule sequencing. We own several NGS platforms (including a 10x Genomics Chromium X and PacBio Sequel II) which allow us to support a wide range of methods and applications that require the latest genome sequencing technologies. We have a broad variety of platforms for nucleic acid quality control and sample prep. You can follow our training for specific pieces of equipment, but you can also make use of our library prep services. We also offer a Sanger sequencing service for Leiden-based researchers.

We offer support for the complete sequencing workflow, from sample delivery to data analysis. In addition, we can customize our workflows to your needs. Please contact us to discuss options.
