LUMC Association for PhD candidates
The LUMC Association for PhD candidates (LAP) represents the interests of PhD students at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). We are here to help you navigate your PhD track and your career.
Who are we?
The board is composed of 10 PhD students in the LUMCfrom various backgrounds, both international and Dutch. We aim to help all PhD candidates in the LUMC and organise events, such as a Career Day, interesting lectures, PhD drinks and much more.
What’s in it for you?
As a PhD student, you can join our events, meet other PhDs and researchers, expand your network and follow our mailing list for upcoming events. Furthermore, when you experience problems during your PhD, you can always come to us, and we will help you figure out a solution.
