Leiden Genome Technology Center

Equipment

The LGTC hosts over 20 instruments for next-generation sequencing (NGS) library prep and sequencing.

Single-cell equipment

Single-cell sequencing allows you to measure gene expression or chromatin accessibility simultaneously on thousands of cells.

LGTC offers several platforms as well as custom protocols for single-cell RNA, DNA, and multi-omic library preps.

Single-molecule sequencing

We have nearly 10 years of experience with long-read sequencing, and we offer the latest sequencing platforms from PacBio and Oxford Nanopore. Additionally, the LGTC is a Certified Service Provider for Oxford Nanopore Technologies.

Miscellaneous equipment

The LGTC has additional instruments for DNA and RNA size selection and quality control. We are happy to analyse your samples on request. You can contact us for further information or request a quote via info@lgtc.nl.

General rules

  • It’s your own responsibility to store your data. The LGTC cannot be held responsible for data management.
  • The LGTC cannot be held responsible if your run fails. There will be no refund for used consumables and reagents.

Shared equipment

We maintain shared equipment for researchers at LUMC to use.  We have platforms for DNA and RNA shearing, quality control, and quantification as well as qPCR and SNP genotyping. You must make a booking to use our instruments through our Outlook room calendars. Please contact info@lgtc.nl if you need calendar access.
