Peptide and Tetramer Facility Immunology (PTFI) - Peptide Facility & HLA (immonology)

Services

Within the Peptide and HLA tetramer facility we offer two services, synthetic peptides and Class I HLA tetramers. You can read more about it below.

Synthetic peptides

We can provide a variety of synthetic peptides of about 8-40 amino acids in length. Peptides can be linear, cyclic or branched.

Peptides might contain non-coding amino acids, D-amino acids, stable isotope labelled amino acids, PEG-spacers, etcetera. We can modify peptides with, for example, biotin, fluorescent tag, a lipid tag like a palmitoyl or cholesteryl moiety, an azide or DBCO group for click applications.

Class I HLA-tetramers

We can provide a variety of class I tetramers, human or murine.

We normally prepare approximately 150 µg of a particular tetramer containing a fluorescent label (for example PE or APC) and a peptide of choice. This is sufficient to perform about 1500 individual tests.
