LUMC Global is the international engagement platform of Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). It connects people, expertise, and partnerships across borders to advance healthcare, research, innovation, and education worldwide.

By facilitating international collaboration and fostering strategic partnerships, LUMC Global helps researchers, educators, clinicians, and students engage with peers and institutions around the world. Through its activities, LUMC Global supports knowledge exchange, capacity strengthening, academic mobility, and the development of sustainable international collaborations that address shared health and societal challenges.

Key initiatives include LUMC Global Engagement, the LUMC Global Community, and the LUMC Global Health Hub, which together create opportunities for collaboration, networking, and mutual learning with partners across the globe.

In addition, LUMC Global Education serves as the link between international partnerships and education. Working closely with all bachelor's and master's programmes and a global network of partner universities, the team supports students and staff in international educational activities and creates high-quality opportunities for incoming and outgoing student mobility.

Through these efforts, LUMC Global contributes to an internationally connected academic medical center that promotes excellence, innovation, and global impact in healthcare, research, and education.
