Introduction
In 2025, I completed my master’s degree in Life Science & Technology at Leiden University, with a broad focus on chemical biology, cell biology, and immunology. I completed a one-year research internship in the group of Prof. Dr. Mario van der Stelt, where I investigated base editing as a technique to identify potential targets for cancer therapy.
Scientific research
My research focuses on ubi-tagging in antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). ADCs are drugs used to treat (skin) cancer and consist of an antibody and a toxic drug, which can be linked together via ubiquitin. The goal is to develop a more effective and precise drug for the treatment of skin cancer.
