Adult Intensive Care
The doctors and nurses of the adult intensive care nursing ward can provide you with treatment for problems with bodily functions of vital importance, including respiration, heart rate, blood pressure and brain function. Admission to this nursing ward is usually planned in advance, for example, when you have not already undergone a major operation. Sometimes, admission occurs on an unexpected basis, for example following an accident or onset of a severely acute condition.
