Theunissen family

In April 2021, unfortunately one of our girls was ill. After several visits to the out-of-hours GP service, we were referred to the WAKZ.

It soon became clear that she needed extra oxygen and had to stay overnight on the Bos ward. Unfortunately, this coincided with Easter. But we lacked nothing. Our daughter was in very good hands, and the parents were thought of too. The nurses were incredibly sweet and patient. Fortunately, our daughter improved quite quickly and perked up again. In the morning, we were surprised by the service employee with a delicious breakfast and even some extras for Easter. We even got to meet the Easter Bunny briefly. He quickly put a smile on our daughter's face. Fortunately, we were allowed to return home after just one night.

Our daughter was in very good hands, but the parents were also thought of.

All the staff at the WAKZ ensured that this was a positive experience for us. The doctors and nurses were very helpful and really took our situation into account. As a result, our daughter still enjoys visiting the WAKZ.
