Introduction
Since 2015, I am working with great pleasure in the LUMC Hospital. After my ENT residency, I completed a fellowship in head and neck surgery. I mainly perform surgery for benign and malignant tumors and congenital abnormalities of the skin, mucosa of the mouth and throat, neck and salivary glands.
I am also involved in the treatment of melanomas, one of the areas of expertise of the LUMC.
I did a PhD at the Utrecht University, concerning developments in diagnostic imaging of the ENT. And now continuing my research activities in the LUMC.
Besides my medical work, I supervise ENT residents during their 5 year residency to become ENT doctors.
