LUMC Research Fellowship and LUMC Gisela Thier Fellowship

LUMC provides two fellowships yearly for talented scientists. The LUMC Research Fellowship and the LUMC Gisela Thier Fellowship are open to both internal and external candidates These fellowships focus on recently graduated researchers (up to five years post-PhD), with a budget of up to 400,000 euros.

The objective of the LUMC Research Fellowship and the LUMC Gisela Thier Fellowship is to offer talented, recently graduated LUMC researchers who are at the start of their careers the opportunity to conduct research at LUMC for four years and gain experience as a project leader. To cover staffing and other costs the budget is a maximum of €100,000 per year, linked to the appointment, up to 4 years. 

For these Fellowships, you can be nominated by a LUMC department head, and you will be appointed to a department at LUMC. Applicants should always first contact the Head of Department of where they want to carry out their fellowship project.
