Description

The Research Data Day 2026 "Support. Share. Collaborate” is an annual event for everyone working with or supporting research data at and beyond the LUMC.

The day brings together researchers, data professionals and support staff to share knowledge on best practices in research data and Open Science. This edition expands the community by strengthening connections with regional and national partners.

The program features a marketplace where you can explore tools, services and resources, and connect with experts who can support your work. In the afternoon, interactive sessions focus on current data challenges and practical solutions. Sessions are designed for a broad audience, from early-career researchers and PIs to research support staff and data professionals.

Our mission is simple: increase the visibility of available support, strengthen skills, and foster collaboration within and beyond the LUMC.

Research Data Day 2026 is about supporting each other, sharing knowledge and connecting to make research data more effective, reusable, and impactful.

If you want to be the first to receive news about the Research Data Day, subscribe to the mailing list. If you would like to contribute to the research day, you can also let us know via the form.

Who is the day for?

The event is for everyone who works with or supports the use of research data – regardless of whether they are junior, medior or senior. This event is open to anyone interested in learning about the LUMC’s expertise on research data. The Research Data Day offers something for both researchers and research supporters.
