Description
Research Data Day is an annual event for everyone who works with research data or provides research support, both within and outside LUMC.
The theme of Research Data Day 2026 is "Support. Share. Collaborate."
During this event, researchers, data professionals, and support staff come together to exchange knowledge and experiences related to research data and Open Science. You will learn about best practices for collecting, managing, sharing, and reusing data for scientific research.
The program features an information market where you can explore a wide range of tools, services, and support opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to meet LUMC experts who support researchers in various aspects of scientific research.
In the afternoon, you can participate in interactive sessions addressing current data challenges and practical solutions.
Who Should Attend?
This event is intended for anyone who wants to learn more about the use of healthcare data in scientific research and discover the expertise available within LUMC to support research, ranging from preclinical and translational studies to clinical research.
Whether you are an early-career researcher, an experienced scientist, a data professional, or provide research support at any stage of the research lifecycle, this event is for you.
We welcome participants from within and outside LUMC, including colleagues from healthcare organizations, research institutes and other (regional) partner organizations interested in healthcare and research data.
