Our PhD candidates conduct research on a great variety of biomedical and health care subjects that stimulate multidisciplinary collaborations. The LUMC aims to connect PhD candidates, in order to benefit both the student and the LUMC.

Being a PhD candidate
Once you have been accepted by one of our thesis advisors, you will start a 4 year PhD program at the renowned LUMC. You will receive on-the-job training from our dedicated supervisors and perform research independently.
About the Graduate School
Together with the research themes, the Graduate School at the LUMC offers PhD candidates an ambitious and dedicated PhD track. The Graduate School is formed by the Graduate School Board and the Graduate School Council and is part of the LUMC’s Directorate of Research Policy.
