The Light and Electron Microscopy Facility provides a beginners course about the basics of microscopy for new users. Advanced courses are organised for frequent users.
For new users, we host regular introduction courses which present the basics everyone should know when using microscopy in their research. These courses also cover the essentials for people who want unsupervised access to the facility. We briefly cover the different imaging modalities and their advantages and disadvantages. Also, we provide some guidelines for proper electron microscopy sample preparation, acquisition, data storage and image analysis. Finally, this course shows how you can book the different microscopes once you have received the required training.
Advanced courses will be provided on a demand basis.
