Good Research Practice & Integrity

Researchers flourish in a culture defined by independence and integrity. We expect all employees to conduct research according to the highest ethical and professional scientific standards. This includes both LUMC PhD candidates and students, as well as others conducting research with LUMC or using LUMC facilities.

In compliance with the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, LUMC works on further promoting and safeguarding Good Research Practices & Scientific Integrity. The Academic Integrity Complaints Regulation gives guidance to any person considering to submit a complaint, if he or she suspects an employee of Leiden University or the Leiden University Medical Center of committing or having committed a violation of academic integrity.
