Introduction
I’m an associate professor in the Department of Human Genetics where I lead 2 teams:
Leiden Genome Technology Center (LGTC)
The LGTC is the genomics and transcriptomics research facility of the LUMC. The LGTC is specialized in the validation and implementation of single-cell and single-molecule sequencing technologies. We offer the latest platforms from 10x Genomics, Oxford Nanopore, and PacBio and are accessible for both LUMC and external researchers and companies.
Forensic Laboratory for DNA Research (FLDO)
The FLDO conducts DNA research on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security. We are an ISO 17025-accredited lab and offer forensic DNA testing services using capillary electrophoresis and Massively Parallel Sequencing (MPS) technologies.
