The Scientific Advisory Commission of the LUMC advises in the field of scientific research, one of the core tasks of the LUMC.
Responsibilities of the Scientific Advisory Committee
- Advising the Executive Board about research matters, primarily with a view to promising strategic and subject matter developments.
- Periodically assessing and analysing the quality of scientific research performed within the LUMC .
- Advising and supporting LUMC researchers and bodies on research matters.
The Scientific Advisory Committee specifically supports applicants to prepare and elaborate applications for personal grants such as within the Innovational Research Incentives Scheme (NWO) and the European Research Council grants.
