Abdominal Radiology
The research in the abdominal section consists of two themes: Imaging of pancreatic cancer and Contrast media safety.
The pancreatic cancer imaging group focuses on early detection of pancreatic cancer with MRI, improving MRI-techniques for imaging and follow-up of pancreatic cancer, and exploring the value of intra-operative ultrasound in surgery of pancreatic cancer.
The contrast media safety group is active in all aspects of safety of iodinated contrast media and gadolinium-based contrast agents with specialized knowledge on radiological and epidemiological aspects.
