Ordering Medicines for External Parties

Healthcare institutions and pharmacies can order medicines that are prepared and kept in stock by the LUMC. See the “LUMC Pharmaceutical Preparations Assortment List.” For your orders, please use the “LUMC Pharmaceutical Preparations Order Form.” The delivery time for these products is 24 hours, and delivery depends on postal services.

Urgent Orders

For urgent orders, please contact the Sales Department of the hospital pharmacy between 8:30 and 17:00 at 071 526 33 99 (if no answer: 071 526 27 90) to discuss faster delivery. Outside office hours, you can contact the on-duty pharmacist through the LUMC switchboard at 071 526 91 11.

Individual Preparation

If you require a product that is not on the list, please first contact the on-duty pharmacist at 071 529 97 58. Together, you will decide whether an individual preparation can be made by the pharmacy. In that case, fill in the order form and check the box indicating it concerns an “ad hoc preparation.”

Quality Analysis of Pharmaceutical Preparations

The “analysis certificates” of our pharmaceutical preparations are digitally available on this website. If an analysis certificate is missing, you can request it by emailing laboratoriumapotheek@lumc.nl , including the product name, number, and batch number.

Pickup and Shipping

Your order can be picked up at the pharmacy counter on L0 (route 833).

We can also ship your order via PostNL (no 24‑hour guarantee and no Saturday shipping). For urgent orders and shipments of refrigerated products, we use a courier (starting rate €24.98 + €0.78 per km).
