Dr. S.M. (Szymon) Kiełbasa

I am an assistant professor with expertise in bioinformatics, specializing in the development and application of bioinformatics and data science methodologies to analyze and interpret bulk/single-cell transcriptomics/genomics data. My work includes creating computational tools and leveraging advanced skills in high-performance computing to address complex biological challenges. Moreover, I teach courses related to programming (R, Python, git) with a focus on libraries commonly used in data science tasks (data manuipulation/visualisation).
