Our experts

The FCF operators are highly qualified professionals with expertise in flow cytometry, mass cytometry, and cell sorting, as well as in immunology and hematology. Many of our operators also have industry experience and are well-versed in Good Research Practices (GRP). Their technical proficiency and research knowledge enable them to provide expert guidance and highest-level support across various applications.

To ensure continuity, all operators are cross trained to operate multiple instruments while developing individual specializations. Each instrument has a designated lead operator and a trained backup, ensuring seamless support at all times.

Operators receive ongoing education and training to stay up to date with advancements in the field. Additionally, we are establishing a European network with major flow cytometry facilities to facilitate an exchange program and a collaborative training initiative, ensuring our operators remain at the forefront of technology and best practices.

The management and strategic direction of the FCF are overseen by the management team and its Advisory Board Committee. Dr. Tamar Tak serves as the FCF Director, providing leadership and vision for the facility’s operations. Marjolijn Hameetman holds the position of Operational Manager, playing a key role in day-to-day operations and coordination.
