We currently serve more than 500 users per year and houses over 24 instruments, making the FCF one of the largest flow cytometry core facilities in Europe and one of the top 10 facilities in the world.

Equipment overview

The LUMC FCF is equipped with over 24 advanced research and diagnostic flow cytometry instruments, including five cell sorters, three mass cytometers, and CE-IVD-certified Canto and Lyric systems for diagnostics and clinical trials. The facility also features specialized flow cytometers capable of analyzing biohazardous samples within BSL-II and BSL-III laboratories, providing cutting-edge technology to support a wide range of research and clinical needs.
