Heineken Young Scientist Award

The Heineken Young Scientists Awards are awarded biennially in recognition of young researchers who have made outstanding scientific achievements and thus set an example for other young scientists. A laureate receives a sum of 10,000 euros, funded by the Alfred Heineken Fondsen Foundation and awarded by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).

Four awards are presented every two years, one per domain: Medical/Biomedical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences. Read more about the Heineken Young Scientist Awards on the KNAW website.
