LEaDing Fellows

LUMC-specific issues for applicants

LUMC training and courses

LUMC researchers can join a diverse pallet of courses, of which you can make a selection for your LEaDing Fellows trainings plan. Besides disciplinary-specific training by the LUMC medical research profiles, many generic/transferable skills courses are offered. Most of these courses are organised by LUMC, in cooperation with linked parties (e.g. Leiden University (LU) or Boerhaave CME). Please visit the listed websites for more information.

LUMC research collaborations and alliances

LUMC has collaborative research alliances with leading institutes and consortia around the world. In these alliances, inter-disciplinary and inter-sectoral approaches are used to address current scientific and societally-relevant issues. To find solutions to these complex societal challenges, LUMC is involved in research collaborations and alliances that ideally include non-academic representatives such as commercial enterprises and special interest groups in addition to classic academic research institutions. Depending on the topic of your research proposal and corresponding hosting group, you can think of arranging a secondment within one of these established research alliances.

The research alliances of LUMC are presented in three categories: regional, national and international. See our website for more information.
