Quality Control

Quality Control forms an integral part of the Center of Proteomics and Metabolomics. The Center of Proteomics and Metabolomics is one of the leading groups within the LUMC for implementing Good Research Practice procedures.

The Center for Proteomics and Metabolomics thrives to continuously improve working practices. To this end, we have the multi disciplinary Quality Control group, which meets approximately once a month to discuss existing procedures and implement improvements where possible. To guarantee high quality research that is reproducible and properly documented, our routine laboratory work is performed according to Standard Operating Procedures that are created and reviewed by team members with most applicable knowledge. For method development experiments a high quality documentation and data management by each person in the lab is pursued.
