Stadsgehoorzaal (City Concert Hall), Breestraat 60, Leiden
Stadsgehoorzaal is a 19th century neo-Renaissance building characterised by a perfect mix of timeless classic and tasteful modern. Stadsgehoorzaal was built in 1891, after the original concert hall was destroyed by a large fire. In 2004 the golden Aalmarktzaal, as part of a large renovation, was added to the building as a second concert hall. It fits 349 persons and is equipped with all modern facilities. The Aalmarktzaal has large windows overlooking the historical city centre with beautiful views: 18th century houses, churches and canals. The history and location, right in the middle of the city centre, make it an exceptional and unique venue for the coming Narakas Meeting 2019.
