Cognitive Neuroscience

We study the cognitive processes and neural mechanisms underlying mental functions such as perception, attention, memory, decision making and action control. In our research we use a wide variety of methods, including functional MRI, electrical scalp potentials, computational modeling, pharmacology, neurofeedback and behavioral testing. The main themes of our research are (i) the control of attention and action; and (ii) the role of neuromodulation in cognition
