Medical Decision Making
The expertise of the staff of the section Medical Decision Making is of a very multidisciplinary nature. You are welcome to ask the staff members for advice and/or cooperation.
The section Advanced Data Management (ADM) offers clinical researchers support on all aspects of data management and data stewardship. For example, support and advice on safe processing and storing of research data (adhering to Good Research Practice (GRP)), adequate privacy protection, designing and building of a database in Castor or ProMISe , writing of a data management plan or paragraph, and data quality. ADM also gives advice onFAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data. For example, ADM helps researchers to answer questions like: ‘How can I safely store data long term?’ and ‘How can I make my data findable for other researchers?’.
ADM collaborates with various departments and groups within and outside the LUMC, including the directorate Information Technology & Digital Innovation (IT&DI), the Data & Intelligence Group (DIG), the data protection officer and privacy advisors, the Good Research Practice (GRP) advisors, the LUMC Research Support Desk and ZorgTTP.
ADM can be contacted via ADM@lumc.nl or 071-5269726.
Researchers are welcome to approach the Bioinformatics Center of Expertise for advice and cooperation in the field of bio-informatics. In this centre of expertise bioinformaticians of the department of Medical Statistics and Bioinformatics collaborate with bioinformaticians of other departments.
