DPS objective 

DPS is not meant just to practice medical history or research. Neither is the purpose to come to the right diagnoses, nor chose the appropriate therapy. 
The main purpose of DPS is however the introduction of points of decision making during medical history, physical- and additional research, the choice of therapy and the follow-up of a patient.

When student have made a right or wrong decision DPS instantly provides students with appropriate feedback on their performance. 

DPS distinguishes from physiological simulations that predict physiological parameters perfectly, by simulating parameters such as bloodpressure within the normal human range with a small deviation with every new measurement.
