Research

Introduction

The research at the Department of Medical Microbiology is aimed at understanding the (molecular) interactions between pathogens and the host. This research is performed at different levels: from molecular genetics of the pathogens to molecular diagnostics and from molecular epidemiology to the development of vaccines.
