Education and study programs & Working at
Leiden University Medical Center has five central tasks: patient care, research, education, training, and continued training and instruction. Working in a university setting means that teaching and working are strongly interwoven. We take it for granted that learning and development are part of daily work. We want, after all, to work at the highest level, now and in the future.
Working at the LUMC makes high demands. People who want to share their expertise and enjoy acquiring knowledge will find their niche with us. Lifelong learning is no empty promise with us.
In most cases working at the LUMC means that you must have a good command of the Dutch language. Some research positions form an exception to this, including PhD programs, which are paid positions for usually four years.
Interested in the opportunities that the LUMC offers to combine working and learning? Take a look at our job vacancies. You can find the training position of your choice in the different groups of positions.
