Research Projects at LUMC

International students wishing to carry out (master’s) research projects at LUMC can choose from a wide variety of top-level research laboratories. With over 35 clinical/research departments, virtually all medical and biomedical disciplines are represented. We can accommodate students throughout the year for a length of stay preferably between 4 to 7 months, provided that a project and supervision are available suiting your personal wishes with respect to research content and timing.

You are free to browse the online information on our research departments found through the link below and contact our International Officer to state your interest in any of the research programs/departments. Your request will be forwarded to the department in question and you will be contacted to discuss the possibilities and timing of a possible project at LUMC. Specific project titles and time windows are not published due their high turnover (related to number of students applying) and the speed of research development in general.
