Third European Conference on Scientific Publishing in Biomedicine and Medicine

The third ECSP wil be held: 27-29 May 2010 in the Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands. The principal aim of the European Conference on Scientific Publishing in Biomedicine and Medicine series is to broaden researchers' understanding and knowledge of the rapid changes in the scientific communication and publishing environment and its direct impact on the research community. Open Access, ‘wikification’ of science communication, dealing with information overload, ‘translation’ of scientific knowledge from laboratory bench to hospital bed and other aspects of the impact of science on society at large, are all of major interest to STM (Scientific, Technical & Medical) Publishing worldwide and the research community itself.
