Possibilities

There are frequent opportunities for students to do shorter or longer research projects or traineeships within the LUMC Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry Unit. Students with a strong general background in the natural sciences and pursuing an education or career in biomedical sciences, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, bioinformatics or physics are particularly encouraged to contact us. Actual information about projects and possibilities can be found on the  Leiden University Blackboard, by contacting Professor André M. Deelder or for specific enquiries Dr. Y. v.d. Burgt, (Mass spectrometry-based clinical proteomics),  Dr. L. McDonnell, (Imaging mass spectrometry), Dr. P. Hensbergen, (Cell Biology Proteomics), Dr. O. Mayboroda, (Advanced separations and clinical MS-metabolomics), Dr. A. Meissner, (Biomedical NMR spectroscopy), Dr. M. Palmblad, (FTICR- and high-throughput proteomics), Dr. A. van Remoortere, (Biomolecular interaction analysis), Dr. Manfred Wuhrer, (Glycomics and proteomics).
