Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry unit

The unit for mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technologies of the Department of Parasitology together with the MS activities within the IHB forms the main expertise centre and technology platform for (clinical) proteomics in the LUMC.

The research is focussed on the integration of state-of-the art approaches for mass spectrometric and NMR-analysis of biomolecules and biomarkers (proteomics, metabolomics) in biomedical and clinical research projects (including biomarkers in Schistosoma infection).
